Zodiem vs Naoma

By the Zodiem team · Published September 2026 · Updated November 3, 2026

Naoma is an AI video demo agent that runs inside a real browser sandbox of your product. It's one of the more detailed AI-demo-agent product pages publicly available, which makes a fact-based comparison easier than most. Everything below is drawn from Naoma's own homepage and FAQ (linked in Sources).

TL;DR: Naoma offers a choice of avatar/mascot presentations in 33 languages and charges usage-based, per engaged demo; Zodiem has no avatar, is English-only today, and also meters by engaged demo but at a flat monthly rate per tier ($249 Starter, $750 Growth, $2,083 Scale). Both run inside a browser rather than playing a static video, but Naoma uses a separate sandbox account while Zodiem navigates your actual live site. Neither vendor holds SOC 2/ISO 27001 certification yet.

Demo format Visitor picks from three presentation options: "Naoma" (a branded mascot), a custom branded mascot, or a photo-realistic avatar generated from a real photo. All three are voice-driven inside a browser sandbox. Live voice conversation with no avatar. The visitor sees the agent's real browser window, not a generated face or mascot.
Product navigation Runs inside "a dedicated sandbox account" of the product and clicks through real workflows rather than static screenshots, per Naoma's FAQ. Runs on a real headless browser (Playwright) against your actual live site rather than a separate sandbox account. It clicks, scrolls, and fills forms on screen.
Languages 33 languages, auto-detected from the visitor's browser, switchable mid-conversation, per Naoma's FAQ. English at launch. Multi-language support is on the roadmap, not yet shipped.Roadmap
Lead routing / integrations Sends "transcripts and structured lead intelligence into your CRM, Google Sheets, Slack, or other connected systems," per Naoma's FAQ. Captured leads and full transcripts are available via a local API today; direct CRM push (HubSpot/Salesforce) is on the roadmap.Roadmap
Pricing model Usage-based. Naoma's FAQ states "you pay for engaged demos, not no-shows," with usage warnings at 80%/100% of a monthly allotment and optional pay-as-you-go for overages. No flat published price. Meters by engaged demo too, but flat published monthly tiers with a fixed allowance: $249/mo Starter (50), $750/mo Growth (100), $2,083/mo Scale (300), custom Enterprise.
Security / compliance Naoma's FAQ states it is GDPR-compliant and designed for enterprise security requirements, with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 explicitly described as "in progress" (not yet certified) as of when we checked. Not yet certified. SOC 2, ISO 27001, formal GDPR/HIPAA certification, SSO, and data residency are all on the roadmap, not audited or shipped today. See our security section for the exact breakdown.
Reported conversion data Naoma's own early-pilot figures (not independently verified by us): 6–20% visitor-to-AI-demo conversion versus 1–2% for a "Book a demo" button, with roughly 30% of engaged visitors moving to the next step. We don't yet have comparable published conversion data to share.

Where the two differ most plainly

The clearest verifiable differences are presentation format and pricing model. Naoma offers a choice of avatar/mascot presentations; Zodiem has no avatar and shows the visitor a real browser window instead. Naoma charges per engaged demo with a usage-based model; Zodiem charges a flat monthly rate per tier. Neither approach is objectively better. It depends whether a buyer wants usage-based cost control or flat, predictable pricing, and whether an avatar presentation or a plain live browser view fits their brand better.

On security, Naoma is explicit that SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are "in progress" as of when we checked. Zodiem doesn't hold those certifications either. Both are on our roadmap, not yet audited, so this is one axis where neither vendor should be taken at face value without verifying current status directly.

When Naoma might be the better fit

If you need broad language coverage today (Naoma's FAQ claims 33, auto-detected and switchable mid-conversation) or want a visitor-facing avatar/mascot presentation as part of your brand, Naoma's published capabilities cover that now. If usage-based pricing that scales with actual engaged demos, rather than a flat monthly tier, fits your budgeting better, that's Naoma's stated model.

When Zodiem might be the better fit

If you'd rather a visitor see your actual live product being navigated, instead of a sandbox account or an avatar presentation, Zodiem's real-browser approach is the more literal demonstration. If predictable, flat monthly pricing is easier to budget than a usage-based model with overage tiers, Zodiem's fixed-allowance tiers ($249-$2,083/mo, custom above that) have no per-demo variable cost within the plan's allowance, unlike Naoma's pay-per-engaged-demo model.

FAQ

Yes, today. Naoma's FAQ claims 33 auto-detected languages. Zodiem is English-only at launch, with multi-language support on the roadmap.
How does Naoma's pricing compare to Zodiem's? +
Naoma is usage-based: you pay per engaged demo, with warnings and optional pay-as-you-go once you cross a monthly allotment, and no flat published price. Zodiem also meters by engaged demo (3+ minutes of real conversation) but publishes flat monthly tiers with a fixed allowance: Starter $249/month (50/mo), Growth $750/month (100/mo), Scale $2,083/month (300/mo), Enterprise custom.

Naoma offers a choice of a branded mascot, a custom mascot, or a photo-realistic avatar. Zodiem has no avatar — the visitor sees a real, live browser window instead.
Is Naoma's reported conversion data independently verified? +
No. The 6–20% visitor-to-AI-demo conversion figures are Naoma's own early-pilot numbers, not independently audited. We're citing them as Naoma's own claim, not as a verified fact, and we don't yet have comparable published data of our own to share.
